The final days of 2016 . . .
Full of sparkly frost, radiant blue skies and shining sunlight wherever your eyes fall . . .
All is calm, all is bright - Hopefully this may be a good sign that 2017 will follow on from these beautiful final days of this year  . . .

All the Christmas Emotions ~

~ My five  Mental Well Being hopes  for Christmas and the New Year ~
Hope 1
Getting well and strong - sadly my emotional well being has seeped through to my physical self these last few weeks. Migraines and poorlyness are not ideal during the festive season I think you'd agree?!  Time to work on self care and accept help when it's kindly offered . . .
Hope 2
Devoting more time to writing and creating - because it makes me happy and keeps me peacefully in the moment!
Hope 3
Enjoying my time with loved ones, and enjoying what I love, without feeling guilty that I should be 'working' and 'figuring out my future at every moment!
Hope 4
Accepting and letting go of unhealthy mindsets which trap me into being a slave to excessive worry!
Hope 5
Less pressure on myself in all areas of my life - even with my ponies! If I want to just potter about and enjoy their company, without a ride, that's what I'll do. We all get something out of it in those lovely 'just us&…

Golden lights and all things bright ~

~ Four little steps forward to Christmas ~
* Sunday simplicity with cosiness and a few sparkles!  The welly boots were hung up for the afternoon, and the slippers were put on for a snug and festive tree decorating hour.

* Hoof prints in the frost, warm breathing pouring into the cold evening air - Christmas with horses is extra special. Riding in the chilly mornings and seeing the fairy lights around the village as we trot by.

* The sound of singing jingle bells coming from my nephews sweet little voice, echoing merrily around the house.
* Feeling hopeful and bright

With love

The magic is arriving ~

Image
A soft frost is covering every inch of the meadow each morning just now. A family of Robin's have taken up residence in our faithful field maple. They return every year around this time. The holly wreath has been perched up high out of reach from curious pony teeth. A quiet magic is present in the meadow . . . Christmas is coming . . .
